How to reverse menopause weight gain?

Since menopause started, I've put on a lot of weight, especially around my belly. It feels impossible to lose. Is there a specific way to reverse menopause weight gain, or is this just my new normal?

Actually, menopause weight gain is so frustrating, yaar! Your metabolism just drops suddenly. I had to strictly cut down on late-night carbs and start strength training twice a week to see any real change.

I am just reading up on this as I am approaching my late 40s. It seems hormonal shifts make it very easy to gain belly fat. Starting a healthy exercise routine early seems to be the best way to prepare for it.

Oh, managing those sweet cravings during menopause is a different battle altogether! I had to swap my evening biscuits for roasted makhana and fruits. It is tough, but portion control is the only way to manage the weight.

Managing menopause weight gain is very important, especially if you have a family history of diabetes. Keep your sugar intake to a minimum, eat fiber-rich meals, and make sure to monitor your fasting glucose regularly.

Between work and managing home, menopause makes you feel exhausted. Don't go for crash diets; they will only deplete your bone density. Focus on consistent 30-minute daily workouts and a high-protein diet instead.

I ignored my sudden weight gain during menopause, thinking it was just aging, but it turned out to be associated with thyroid changes too. Please get a full blood and hormone panel done to understand what your body needs.
