How to relieve upper stomach pain during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and for the past few days, I've been getting this sharp upper stomach pain. It’s making it hard to sleep and eat properly. Is there anything safe I can do to feel better during pregnancy?

Upper stomach pain in pregnancy shouldn't be ignored, especially in the later terms because it can be linked to high blood pressure. Don't waste time experimenting with too many home remedies. Contact your gynecologist immediately and get your BP checked.

With pregnancy, any kind of upper abdominal discomfort requires extra caution as it can sometimes indicate preeclampsia. Please don't take any chances or try self-treatment. Call your doctor's clinic right away to get their opinion.

Please lie down on your left side and take some rest, as this position helps with circulation and digestion. Drinking a glass of warm coconut water can also cool the stomach. Take care and don't exert yourself today.

For mild acidity in pregnancy, eating small, frequent meals instead of large ones helps a lot. Try sitting upright for an hour after eating and sip on cold milk if you have heartburn. But remember to always run any symptoms by your obstetrician to be safe.

If you are dealing with gestational diabetes, watch out for upper stomach discomfort as it can sometimes be connected to fluctuations or liver stress. Avoid sweet syrups or sugary soda drinks for gas relief. It is best to consult your specialist doctor immediately.
