Try doing some light steam inhalation with a drop of eucalyptus oil to ease the cough first, it really helps the back muscles relax. A warm heating pad on your upper back for 15 minutes also works wonders. But honestly, if your coughing is very severe or you feel chest pain, please see a doctor immediately.

Haan, this back pain is because our muscles get sprained due to the force of coughing. Just put a hot water bag on the area and avoid lifting heavy things right now. Thoda balm lga lo relax milega, but don't ignore it if the cough doesn't go away na.

Haan na, coughing makes the whole ribcage and back so sore, it is very annoying. I usually drink warm turmeric milk or ginger honey water to soothe the throat. Take a warm water bath to relax those tight muscles, ho na, you will feel much better.

Bro same thing happened to me last month when I had bad flu. Every time I coughed, my upper back would hurt like crazy. I just rested, drank warm water constantly, and got my doctor to prescribe a cough syrup to stop the pressure on my back.

Coughing so hard makes you feel like you are doing an intense 6-pack abs workout but only getting the back pain instead! Lean against a soft pillow when you feel a cough coming to absorb the shock. Don't worry, once the throat chill scene is sorted, your back will forgive you.

The repetitive impact of coughing can strain the intercostal muscles in your back. Using a warm compress and maintaining a good posture while sitting can help soothe the ache. However, getting a proper diagnosis from a physician to treat the root cause of the cough is the safest approach.
