How to relieve pregnancy cramps first trimester?

I'm just starting my first trimester and I'm experiencing some mild cramping. It's making me a bit worried, though my doctor said it's common. What can I do to relieve these pregnancy cramps at home?

Mild cramping is very common as your uterus expands. Just make sure to rest and stay hydrated.

Please be careful in the first trimester. If the cramps are sharp, one-sided, or accompanied by any spotting or bleeding, go to the hospital immediately. I once ignored serious cramping and it turned into an emergency, so don't take any chances.

First trimester tension is so real, haan na! Just lie down for a bit and drink some warm coconut water when you feel the mild cramps. Thoda rest is very important right now, but do tell your doc about it.

I had mild, period-like cramps in my first two months. My doctor told me it's just the womb making space, but warned against using heating pads on the tummy. Keep your feet up, drink plenty of water, and avoid lifting anything heavy.

Don't experiment with random herbal teas or hot bottles on your abdomen in the first trimester. Early pregnancy is very sensitive. It is best to call your gynecologist and let them guide you safely.

I tried everything from warm milk to changing my sitting postures when I had early cramps. What worked best was simply drinking warm water throughout the day because dehydration actually triggers uterine tightness. Keep your body relaxed and calm.

Deep, calm breathing helps relax the pelvic muscles during early pregnancy. Try sitting quietly and doing gentle diaphragmatic breathing, but avoid any intense twists or forward bends. Let your body adjust naturally.
