How to relieve pain after teeth cleaning?

Got my teeth cleaned yesterday, and now my gums are quite sore and sensitive. The dentist said it's normal, but I'm looking for some tips to relieve this discomfort quickly.

Look, after teeth cleaning, some sensitivity is normal, but severe pain isn't. Don't start trying random home remedies you find online. Your dentist is the best person to advise on this. Call them, describe your pain, and ask if it's normal or if you need to come in. Better safe than sorry.

Ugh, the worst part after cleaning is when you can't properly enjoy your favorite foods! But seriously, stick to soft, lukewarm stuff for a day or two. Like dal khichdi or soft idlis. And maybe skip that ice cream or hot chai for a bit. Your teeth will thank you eventually!

Post-cleaning sensitivity and mild pain are quite common, especially if you had significant plaque buildup. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and sensitive toothpaste for a few days. Avoiding very hot or cold foods/drinks also helps. Gargling with warm salt water can soothe your gums. If it persists beyond a day or two, give your dentist a call.

Beti, daant saaf karwane ke baad thoda dard toh hota hai. Humare yahan toh log garam namak ke paani se kulla karte hain, usse thoda aaram milta hai. Aur haan, thanda ya garam khaana ek do din mat khaana. Dheere dheere theek ho jayega.

I only share what worked for me, please don't consider it medical advice. After my cleaning, I just used a sensitive toothpaste for a week, and tried to avoid crunchy foods. It was a bit uncomfortable, but passed.

Sometimes, focusing on slow, deep breathing can help distract from the discomfort. After cleaning, your gums might be a little inflamed, so a gentle salt water rinse can be soothing. Remember to be mindful when you eat, slowly and deliberately, to avoid irritation. Listen to your body and give it time to heal.

Hey girl, don't stress too much! That soreness after cleaning is super common, like your gums are just a bit annoyed with all the scraping. Just stick to soft foods, lukewarm drinks, and maybe a gentle salt rinse. It usually goes away in a day or two. If it's really bad, call your dentist, okay?
