How to relieve carpal tunnel pain in pregnancy?

Since my pregnancy started, I've had really bad pain and tingling in my hands. It's getting difficult to even hold things sometimes. My mom said it's common in pregnancy, but I need to know how to get some relief for this carpal tunnel pain.

Hey yaar, I totally remember this! It's so annoying na? Don't stress too much, it usually goes away after delivery. For now, try wearing a wrist brace at night, it helped me a lot. And maybe some gentle hand stretches during the day.

This sounds uncomfortable, I hope you feel better soon. My wife used a special pillow to support her wrists when she slept, that seemed to help her a bit. Take care of yourself.

Beta, don't worry, many women go through this. I had it with my second child. It's because of all the extra fluid your body holds. Just try to rest your hands often, and maybe put a cold pack. It will pass, just be patient.

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one! The tingling and numbness are so bad sometimes, especially in the morning. Did anyone else feel like their hands were completely dead? Is it normal or should I be worried?

Uff, I totally get it! That carpal tunnel pain is no joke during pregnancy. I found that doing light hand exercises, like making a fist and then opening your fingers wide, helped with circulation. Also, try not to keep your wrists bent for too long.

Carpal tunnel? More like carpal tunnel of pain, am I right? Between the swollen feet and numb hands, I feel like a walking blob these days. Honestly, I just try to ignore it and chug another glass of water. Anything for a few hours of sleep, even if my hands are pins and needles later.

Hello didi, takleef ho rahi hai toh ghabraiye mat. Hamare gaon mein, log bolte the thoda garam tel se halke haath se malish karne se araam milta hai. Aur haan, kaam karte waqt thoda break le lena. Bhagwaan bhala karega.

Namaste. For such discomfort, gentle stretching can be very beneficial. Try some simple wrist rotations, clockwise and anti-clockwise, and gently press your palms together, then fingers pointing down. It helps improve the flow. Always listen to your body, dear.
