How to regrow hair loss due to hard water?

I moved to a new place recently, and the water here is very hard. Since then, I've noticed a lot of hair fall, and my hair feels really rough. How can I regrow the hair I've lost because of hard water, and also prevent further damage?

Oh, hard water is the worst! My hair used to feel so dry and brittle because of it. What helped me was installing a shower filter. After a few months, I noticed my hair felt softer and the breakage reduced. It wasn't instant regrowth, but it definitely stopped further damage.

My doctor explained that hard water's mineral buildup can make hair weak and prone to breakage, leading to perceived hair loss. The primary solution is preventing further damage, often with a shower filter or using chelating shampoos to remove mineral buildup. For actual regrowth, if follicles are damaged, treatments like minoxidil or PRP might be considered, but always under a dermatologist's guidance.

While hard water is an external factor, ensuring good overall health definitely helps. Regular exercise, like a brisk walk, improves blood circulation, which is good for scalp health too. Along with that, try to minimize the hard water exposure; maybe boil and cool water for rinsing if a filter isn't an option initially.

Hard water deposits can really weigh down hair and make it fall more. Try using a vinegar rinse (diluted apple cider vinegar) once a week after shampooing to remove mineral buildup. Also, invest in a good shower filter if possible. It makes a big difference to hair texture and health over time.

This is a common complaint, especially in many urban areas. Besides a shower filter, which is highly recommended, try to use a good leave-in conditioner to protect your hair from the harshness. Also, a hair mask with natural ingredients can give some strength back. Be patient, it takes time to reverse the damage.

Ah, hard water issues are common. My grandmother always insisted on using rainwater for hair wash whenever possible, but that's not always practical now. I use filtered water for the final rinse and a mild shampoo. For actual regrowth, consulting a good skin doctor is the best. They will tell you what is truly needed.
