Swelling is common in pregnancy. Try to rest with your feet up. Stay hydrated and avoid standing for too long. It should help a little.

Reducing salt intake can definitely help with swelling during pregnancy. Focus on fresh, unprocessed foods. Also, ensure you're getting enough potassium from sources like bananas and leafy greens. But definitely consult your doctor regarding any major dietary changes.

I'm also pregnant and started noticing some swelling, especially in my feet and hands. Is it normal to have it this early? I'm worried if it's a sign of something else. Does drinking more water really help everyone?

My wife had this issue too. The doc said it's normal, but drinking more water helps. Also, she used to put her feet up on pillows when lying down, that made a difference. Don't stress too much about it unless it's really bad.

I totally get how uncomfortable and frustrating swelling can be during pregnancy. It just adds to all the other discomforts. Remember to keep moving gently, elevate your legs, and always check with your doctor for any sudden or excessive swelling.
