How to reduce pain during intercourse home remedies?

My friend mentioned some home remedies for pain during intercourse. We've been having this issue for a while and it's making things difficult. Are there any natural ways or tips we can try at home to help with this, or should I see a doctor?

Honestly, exhaustion and stress make your body so tense that pain is almost guaranteed. Try setting a relaxing mood and using a good quality, gentle water-based lubricant instead of rushing things. It makes a massive difference.

Vaginal dryness or lack of arousal is a very common cause of pain. You can try using a simple, hypoallergenic water-based lubricant to see if it helps. However, if the pain is deep or accompanied by burning or unusual discharge, please see a gynecologist to rule out infections.

Doing regular pelvic floor relaxation exercises, like reverse Kegels, can help release deep-seated muscle tension. If your gynecologist allows, try light pelvic stretches daily to improve flexibility and comfort. Just make sure to stop if anything hurts.

Having PCOS often causes hormonal dryness for me, which used to make intercourse quite painful. Using a pH-balanced lubricant and slowing down the process really helped us. But since pelvic pain can also be due to cysts, I always recommend getting a routine pelvic scan done.

Please know that painful intercourse is not something you just have to tolerate. Using a good water-based lube and communicating clearly with your partner can help a lot.
