How to reduce nausea during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and the nausea is making it so difficult to eat anything. My mom said it's normal, but is there anything that actually helps reduce it?

During my first trimester, ginger biscuits and cold apple juice were the only things that kept my nausea in check. I avoided heavy, oily foods completely. Everyone's pregnancy is different, so please check with your doctor before trying anything new.

My wife had terrible morning sickness last year. What actually helped her was eating a dry biscuit or rusk first thing in the morning before even getting out of bed. Drinking water on an empty stomach made her throw up, so we changed that pattern.

My wife used a pregnancy tracker app that suggested logging her nausea triggers. We realized her symptoms peaked when her blood sugar dropped, so we scheduled small snacks every 2 hours using reminders. It really helped manage her energy and morning sickness levels.

Yaar, morning sickness can happen at any time of the day, actually! Lemon water with black salt was a total savior for me. Just carry a small bottle of it whenever you go out, and avoid spicy street food completely for a few weeks.

Hey sweetie, don't stress too much about not being able to eat full meals right now. Your baby is getting what they need, so just eat whatever you can manage, even if it's just a banana or some curd. Take it easy and sleep whenever you get a chance!

Morning sickness is very tough to handle, haan na? My grandmother used to tell me to chew on some fennel seeds (saunf) after food, and it really helped calm my stomach. Try it, it is very gentle on the system.

With all the doctor consultations and upcoming scan costs, we tried to keep things practical. Instead of buying expensive health drinks for nausea, we stuck to homemade ginger tea and basic dry rusks. It's very cheap, effective, and doesn't add to your medical bills.

I had to completely pause my spicy food cravings during my first trimester because of the intense nausea. I switched to cold desserts like vanilla ice cream or chilled curd, which surprisingly didn't trigger my vomiting reflex. Try experimenting to see what food your stomach accepts right now.

Keep your stomach from being completely empty, as stomach acids can trigger more nausea. Small, frequent meals rich in protein and carbs work best. If you cannot keep even water down for more than 12 hours, please consult your doctor for safe pregnancy-safe anti-nausea tablets.

I can totally feel your struggle, the constant feeling of wanting to throw up is so exhausting. Try eating dry, bland foods like toasted bread or parboiled rice in small quantities. Also, keeping some fresh lemon wedges near you to sniff helps instantly when a bad smell triggers you.
