How to reduce loose skin during weight loss?

I've lost a good amount of weight recently, which I'm happy about, but now I have loose skin, especially on my arms and belly. It's making me self-conscious. What can I do to reduce loose skin after weight loss?

Beta, when you lose weight, the skin takes some time to adjust, so do not worry too much. In my younger days, I realized that losing weight slowly and naturally is much better than crash diets which leave the skin saggy. Have patience and let your body adapt to the changes.

To improve skin elasticity naturally, focus on regular pranayama and gentle yoga postures that tone the muscles. Drinking plenty of warm water throughout the day keeps the skin hydrated from within. Trust the slow process of nature and do not rush your body.

I totally understand how frustrating it is to work so hard on losing weight only to feel self-conscious about loose skin; it really used to make me feel so insecure. Try to remember that your health is much better now. Focus on strength training to build muscle underneath, which helps fill out the skin naturally.

You can try massaging your skin gently with warm virgin coconut oil or almond oil after a shower to improve local blood circulation. However, if you have lost a massive amount of weight very quickly and have painful skin folds or infections, please consult a dermatologist or surgeon for proper advice.

I tried all kinds of expensive firming creams and homemade packs, but honestly, they only make the skin feel smooth temporarily. The only practical thing that worked for me was adding regular strength training to my routine to build muscle. Keep yourself well-hydrated and give it time.
