Pregnancy mein foot swelling toh bohot common hai, ho na. Jab bhi aap baithte ho, pairon ke niche do-teen pillows rakh ke unhe elevate kiya karo. Aur haan, ek hi jagah pe zyada der khade mat rehna, thoda walk karte raho toh blood circulation achha rehta hai.

Actually, wearing compression socks helped me so much during my third trimester, yaar. I know they look a bit weird, but they keep the fluid from pooling in your ankles. Also, try soaking your feet in warm water with a little salt after a long day, it feels amazing.

Before you spend money on expensive leg massagers or fancy maternity spa sessions, just try simple remedies. Elevating your feet on old cushions costs nothing and works perfectly. Also, keep track of your regular urine and BP tests at the local clinic, which are quite cheap but essential to ensure the swelling isn't a medical issue.

My older sister is pregnant and her feet literally look like balloons right now. She just puts her feet up on the wall while lying down on the bed for like 15 minutes, and she says it's super relaxing and helps reduce the puffiness. Maybe try that while scrolling through your phone!

Beta, in our times we used to avoid salty pickles and papads during pregnancy because excess salt retains water and causes swelling. Drink plenty of normal water, and let your husband gently massage your feet in an upward direction to ease the fluid build-up. God bless you.

Please get your blood pressure checked immediately. During my pregnancy, I ignored my swollen feet thinking it was normal, but it turned out to be a symptom of preeclampsia (high BP) which became a major complication during delivery. Don't take sudden swelling lightly, always inform your doctor.
