Drink warm water with some ghee at night or eat soaked raisins in the morning. However, if you experience severe abdominal cramps or bleeding, please consult your gynaecologist immediately.

Hypothyroidism during pregnancy can slow down your digestion terribly, causing severe constipation. Please get your thyroid levels checked regularly and discuss this symptom with your doctor.

I had terrible constipation during my second trimester. Eating a bowl of papaya (if your doctor allows it) or high-fiber oats with lots of water made a huge difference.
