How to reduce belly fat post pregnancy?

It's been a year since I had my baby, and I'm still struggling with a lot of belly fat that just won't go away. I want to feel confident again. What are the best ways to reduce belly fat post-pregnancy?

I completely understand how overwhelming it feels to look in the mirror and not recognize your own body after delivery. I used to cry thinking my stomach would never go back to normal. Please heal first; your body spent nine months growing a human, so give it at least that much time to recover before worrying about fat loss.

Listen to me, don't stress too much about the belly fat right now! Just focus on eating well and enjoying time with your little one. Once you are fully recovered, we can start with simple evening walks and worry about shedding the weight later, okay?

Drinking warm carom seed (ajwain) water throughout the day can help reduce postpartum bloating and support digestion. However, if you have any severe pelvic pain or if your stitches are hurting, please consult your doctor before starting any home remedies or exercises. Focus on nourishing, warm foods first.

I am just three months postpartum and really struggling with this as well. I want to start some light core exercises, but I am too scared of hurting my internal stitches. Does anyone know if basic breathing exercises are safe to start at this stage?

I panicked so much when my belly still looked six months pregnant even after two months of delivery! But then my gynecologist explained it is just the uterus slowly shrinking back and abdominal muscles separating, which is totally normal. With regular breastfeeding and clean eating, it slowly went down on its own, so please have patience.

I am also on this postpartum journey and realized that crash diets are the worst thing we can do right now, especially while breastfeeding. I just focus on eating high-fiber meals, drinking tons of water, and going for a 20-minute daily walk with the stroller. It is slow, but it feels healthy and sustainable.

I feel so insecure about my loose belly skin and fat, especially when I see other moms looking so fit online. Did anyone else feel like their body changed permanently after a C-section? I really want to know if it actually gets better with simple home food and walking.
