For 101 fever, doing simple cold-water sponging on the forehead and underarms helps a lot to bring the temperature down. Don't bundle the child in heavy blankets, let them wear light cotton clothes. Keep giving them water or coconut water regularly.

Actually yaar, 101 is not super high but you should definitely monitor it closely. Keep a thermometer handy and check every hour. If it doesn't come down with normal paracetamol prescribed by your pediatric doc, give them a call immediately.

My niece also had 101 fever yesterday and we were so worried. We just did gentle wet cloth wiping and gave her warm water. Did you already consult your doctor, or are you waiting to see if it drops?

Keep your spirits up, kids recover very fast! Give them light foods like warm soup or thin khichdi. Keep them hydrated and let them watch their favorite cartoon to distract them.

Haan, bacche ko thoda light kapde pehnao, don't wrap him in heavy blankets na. Liquid dete raho continuously, and standard crocin syrup jo doctor ne bataya hai wahi dena. Tension mat lo, thik ho jayega.

This is a very common issue during weather changes. Keep the room well-ventilated, turn off the AC if it makes them shiver, and use a damp cloth to wipe their body. Keep a record of the temperature and medicine timings.

My son has 101 fever right now and I am so worried. Has anyone else experienced their kid being very sleepy during this? I have given the doctor's medicine but still feeling anxious.

In our times, we used to do fresh tap-water sponging on the head and feet. Make sure the child rests in a quiet room and gets plenty of warm fluids like barley water. But do show them to a doctor if the fever stays for more than a day.

Fever is just the body's internal army fighting off the germs, so don't panic! Just keep sponging them and give the prescribed medicine. Soon they will be back to making a mess in the house.

I totally get it, seeing your child warm with fever is so stressful and scary. Just try to keep them comfortable with a wet cloth on their forehead. Give them their favorite light soup and check on them often.

Every time my kids get a fever, my sleep goes out of the window. Keep the paracetamol syrup handy as per the weight dosage told by your doctor. Hang in there, parent duty is tough but this will pass.

Make sure the kid is getting enough rest and not running around. Hydration is key here, so keep giving them fluids. Avoid any heavy or oily foods right now, keep it extremely clean and light.
