A blood smear test report for malaria will show if parasites were 'Seen' or 'Not Seen'. If they are not seen, it is a great relief. Keep your body healthy and stress-free with gentle pranayama, but always let your physician review the report to make sure everything is fine.
I totally get it, waiting for malaria reports while shivering with fever is incredibly exhausting and scary. Look for the 'Malaria Antigen' or 'Smear' section—if it says 'Negative' or 'Not Detected', you are clear. Just hang in there, you will get through this.
When my son had a high fever last monsoon, we did a malaria antigen test. The report simply stated 'Positive' next to Plasmodium vivax. We immediately forwarded the pdf to our family doctor and let him decide the dosage of medication, which was the safest thing to do.
If your malaria test report is positive, your doctor will start you on antimalarials immediately. Make sure to halt all heavy exercises or running until you are completely recovered and your blood counts are back to normal. Your body needs absolute rest to fight this off.
Stay strong and keep your thoughts positive, dear friend. In the report, the term 'Not Detected' means you do not have malaria. If it shows positive, do not worry, just take your medicines on time and rest, God will heal you soon.

Had malaria last year and the report was pretty direct. It will say 'Reactive' or 'Positive' for either P. falciparum or P. vivax if you have it. If it says 'Non-reactive', then it's some other fever. Just show it to a doc and get the right pills.
