How to prevent pregnancy without birth control?

My girlfriend and I are looking for ways to prevent pregnancy without relying on hormonal birth control methods. Are there any effective natural or alternative ways to prevent pregnancy without birth control?

Well, the easiest way to prevent pregnancy without birth control is, you know, to not have sex! 😂 Just kidding (mostly)! Seriously though, condoms are your best friend. Or if you're tracking cycles, the fertility awareness method, but that's like, advanced level planning. Stay safe, people!

Without hormonal birth control, natural family planning methods like fertility awareness can be used, but they require a *lot* of tracking and discipline. Withdrawal method is also an option, but it's not very reliable. And of course, condoms are non-hormonal and prevent STIs too, so that's usually the best bet if you want to avoid hormonal pills.

If you cannot or do not want to use hormonal birth control, your best bets are barrier methods like condoms. There's also the option of a copper IUD, which is very effective and non-hormonal, but requires a visit to a good gynecologist. Ask your doctor clearly about all non-hormonal options and their effectiveness.

I was looking for this just a few months ago! If you want to avoid hormonal birth control, condoms are really the most straightforward and effective method. Otherwise, tracking your cycle religiously and avoiding sex during fertile windows (fertility awareness method) is another option, but it needs a lot of dedication and understanding of your body. Withdrawal is not reliable at all.

Listen, if you're trying to prevent pregnancy, especially without birth control, do NOT trust random internet remedies or old wives' tales. Many are ineffective and can lead to unwanted pregnancy. The only reliable non-hormonal methods are condoms, or if you're super diligent, fertility awareness methods. Always verify information with a doctor or a reputable family planning clinic.

It's good that you're thinking about safe choices. If you don't want to use hormonal birth control, then barrier methods like condoms are quite effective when used correctly, and they also protect against STIs. The fertility awareness method can be an option, but it demands a lot of consistency and understanding of your body's signs. Be mindful and safe.

I've heard and read about so many 'natural' ways. Honestly, most don't work reliably. If you absolutely want to avoid pregnancy without hormonal pills, the most practical and safe options are condoms every time. You can also track your cycle carefully, but that has a higher chance of error. Don't take risks with something so important.
