How to prevent post pregnancy hair loss?

It's been a few months since I delivered my baby, and I'm experiencing a lot of hair fall, almost like clumps coming out. My mother says it's common after pregnancy, but I'm worried. What can I do to prevent post-pregnancy hair loss?

Postpartum hair loss is largely hormonal and a natural physiological process. While you can't entirely 'prevent' it, you can support hair health with a nutritious diet, adequate rest, and gentle hair care. If it's excessive or prolonged, consult your gynecologist or a dermatologist for professional advice. Don't fall for unproven remedies.

I ignored my hair loss after my first baby, thinking it was normal. It became quite bad. While some shedding is normal, if it's really heavy or lasts too long, please get your iron levels and thyroid checked. My doctor said these can contribute. Don't wait like I did.

Yaar, post-pregnancy hair loss is a universal truth, no? Everyone goes through it. You can't actually prevent it, it's just your body balancing hormones. Just be gentle with your hair, eat well, and relax. It usually grows back. If not, then maybe check with a doc.

Don't fret too much, it's a very common phase for new moms. Your hormones are just readjusting. Focus on eating nutrient-rich foods, getting as much rest as you can, and being gentle with your hair. It will eventually grow back. Just be patient with your body.
