Hi there! GBS (Group B Strep) in pregnancy is quite common, and doctors usually screen for it in the third trimester. If you test positive, they'll give you IV antibiotics during labor to protect the baby. The best prevention is really just adhering to your prenatal care schedule and discussing any concerns with your OB-GYN. They'll guide you through it!

As a working mom, I know how hard it is to keep up with everything. For GBS, honestly, just make sure you don't miss your routine prenatal appointments. They do the GBS swab test around 36 weeks. If positive, you get antibiotics during labor. It's a standard protocol and very effective. No special prevention needed from your side, just follow the doc's plan.

Having PCOS, I've learned that every pregnancy journey has its unique concerns. For GBS, it's primarily managed by screening and then antibiotics during labor if needed. There aren't really 'preventative' measures you can take yourself before testing. Just follow your doctor's instructions diligently and try not to stress too much, they know what they're doing.

GBS? Oh god, another thing to worry about in pregnancy? 😂 Honestly, with all the exhaustion, the only 'prevention' I managed was just showing up for my doctor's appointments. They do a swab test, and if you have it, they give you antibiotics during labor. So, basically, just let the docs handle that one, you focus on getting some rest (if that's even possible!).

Preventing GBS transmission to the newborn primarily involves screening pregnant women between 35 and 37 weeks gestation. If positive, intravenous antibiotics are administered during labor. There are no specific dietary or lifestyle interventions proven to prevent GBS colonization. Always follow your obstetrician's medical advice for the best outcome.

My mother-in-law always says to eat good, wholesome food during pregnancy, and that's generally good advice for overall health. But for GBS, truly, only the doctor can manage it. They will do the test and give medicines if necessary during delivery. Just trust your doctor, everything will be fine, child.
