During pregnancy, the body goes through many changes, and swelling is common. Stay calm, keep your feet elevated whenever possible, and drink plenty of water. Pray for strength and remember, it's a temporary phase of bringing new life into the world.

Beta, ankle swelling is normal in pregnancy. My mother always said to rest with legs up high. And soak your feet in warm water with a little rock salt, it gives relief. Also, drink coconut water; it is very good for the body. But listen to your doctor above all.

My gynaecologist advised me to elevate my legs often, wear comfortable shoes, and avoid standing for long periods. Compression socks can also be very helpful. It's essential to stay well-hydrated, and paradoxically, drinking more water can actually help reduce fluid retention and swelling.

For ankle swelling in pregnancy, staying hydrated and elevating your legs are key. But if you have gestational diabetes or any other health condition, it's even more important to monitor your diet and blood sugar levels, and discuss any swelling with your doctor to rule out complications like preeclampsia.

Gentle movements and elevation truly help. I found that simple ankle rotations and gentle leg stretches, done while sitting or lying down, can really improve circulation. Deep breathing exercises (pranayama) also calm the nervous system, which indirectly aids overall well-being during pregnancy.

This is a common query, beti. For ankle swelling, first and foremost, keep yourself well hydrated. Don't restrict salt too much unless your doctor says so. Try to take short walks to improve circulation and always elevate your legs above your heart whenever you rest. Compression stockings also help a lot.

Ankle swelling can be so uncomfortable and make you feel heavy, it's completely normal to feel frustrated. What helped me was wearing comfortable, supportive shoes, avoiding standing for too long, and just resting with my feet up whenever I could. It's tough, but you're doing great!
