How to lose weight from medication weight gain?

I started taking a new medication recently, and I've noticed some unexpected weight gain. It's making me quite worried. How can I manage and lose weight that has been gained due to medication?

This is a very important question and needs careful medical guidance. The first step is to discuss with the prescribing doctor at a good hospital. They might be able to adjust the dosage, switch to a different medication with fewer weight gain side effects, or provide a specific strategy to counteract the weight gain. Never stop medication or try drastic changes without their input.

Oh man, medication weight gain is so unfair, right? My roommate was on some meds and gained weight, felt super down. She just ate really clean, like ghar ka khana, avoided junk, and did regular walks. But the main thing was talking to her doc to see if the dose could be changed or something. Don't try anything without asking your doctor first!

I had to take some meds for a while and gained a bit. It sucked. My doc said it's super important to keep taking the medicine, but also to focus on a balanced diet and regular exercise. He suggested more protein and fiber, less processed food. And I kept checking in with him. Don't just stop the medicine, that's bad idea.

Sometimes, medication can affect your metabolism or make you hungrier. For gentle support, eating smaller, more frequent meals of whole foods and staying very hydrated can help. Some light yoga or walks can also boost energy. But because it's linked to medication, you absolutely must talk to your doctor about this. They might be able to suggest changes or specific dietary guidelines for your condition.

I can only speak from my own experience, not give medical advice. When I was on a particular medication and gained weight, my doctor suggested I focus on mindful eating and increased my daily activity slightly. We also reviewed if the medication dosage could be adjusted later. It's a tricky balance, so always involve your prescribing physician in any plans.

Beti, medicines ka asar toh hota hi hai shareer pe. Agar dawaai se wazan badh raha hai, toh pehle doctor se baat karo. Woh hi bataenge kya karna hai. Saath mein, ghar ka sada-khaana khao, bahar ka kam. Subah shaam thoda chalna-phirna achha hota hai. Par doctor ki salah sabse upar hai.
