How to lose menopause weight gain?

Since I hit menopause a few years ago, I've noticed I'm gaining weight, especially around my belly, even though my eating habits haven't changed much. It's really frustrating. What can I do to lose this menopause weight?

Menopause brings many changes, beta. Try to eat light, simple meals, more vegetables. Walking daily helps a lot with metabolism. Some people find fennel water useful. But if the weight gain is too much or you feel unwell, do see a good gynaecologist, they can guide you best.

Menopause can affect hormones, and sometimes it can interact with other conditions like thyroid issues. If you haven't recently, it might be a good idea to get your thyroid levels checked. Regular doctor follow-ups are crucial to manage all these changes holistically.

It's a tough phase, but you got this! 💪 Focus on gentle exercises like yoga or swimming, and load up on colorful veggies! Don't forget to get enough sleep, it's super important for hormones. 😊 And consult your gynaecologist for personalized advice!

Menopause is a natural transition, embrace it with peace. Focus on nourishing your body with sattvic food and engaging in gentle activities like walks in nature or meditation. Trust in your body's wisdom, and consult a doctor for physical health, but keep your mind positive.

My mom went through this, and it was quite challenging for her too. She found that reducing sugar, eating lighter dinners, and going for evening walks really helped. Plus, a good gynaecologist can offer a lot of support and advice on managing symptoms, including weight.

I've heard about this, but I'm not really clear on why weight gain happens during menopause. Is it just hormones, or does metabolism also slow down? And what kind of exercises are generally recommended?
