How to know if you have tubal pregnancy?

I'm trying to conceive and heard about tubal pregnancies, which sound really scary. What are the early signs or symptoms that would tell me if I might be having a tubal pregnancy? Should I be looking out for specific pain?

Betiyan, this is a very serious matter and needs immediate medical attention, not home remedies. If you are pregnant and experience severe abdominal pain on one side, vaginal bleeding, or dizziness, please rush to the hospital. A doctor needs to check you urgently, it can be dangerous otherwise. Don't wait.

This is truly a terrifying thought for any woman. The anxiety around pregnancy complications is immense. If you have a positive pregnancy test and then start experiencing severe, one-sided abdominal pain, unusual vaginal bleeding, or feel dizzy, it's an emergency. Please don't try to manage it yourself or wait. Go to the ER immediately. It's okay to be scared, but you need medical help fast.

Tubal (ectopic) pregnancy is a medical emergency. If you're pregnant and experience severe, sharp, one-sided abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding (which might be lighter or darker than a period), dizziness, or shoulder pain, you need to go to the emergency room immediately. These symptoms indicate the fallopian tube might rupture, which is life-threatening. An ultrasound and blood tests are used to diagnose it.

Oh god, I remember how much I panicked when I had some spotting in early pregnancy, and Google kept showing tubal pregnancy. Luckily, it was just normal spotting for me. But for actual tubal pregnancy, the pain is usually severe and on one side of your lower abdomen, and there's often dark, watery bleeding. If you have those sharp pains, it's not normal at all, go to the hospital. Don't sit and worry like I did, just get it checked.
