How to know if you had a chemical pregnancy?

I had a very early miscarriage a few weeks ago, or at least I think I did. I got a positive pregnancy test, then bleeding started very soon after. How can you really know if it was a chemical pregnancy and not just a late period?

A chemical pregnancy is usually detected when you get a positive home pregnancy test very early, but then your period starts shortly after, usually just a few days late. It means the egg was fertilized but didn't implant properly or failed very early. Doctors confirm it with declining HCG levels in blood tests.

Look, for something as sensitive as pregnancy, don't rely on anything you read online or any 'symptoms'. If you get a positive test and then start bleeding, go to a proper gynaecologist. They'll do the necessary blood tests (HCG levels) to confirm what happened. Self-diagnosis here is just going to cause more stress.

This is a delicate matter. If you had a very early positive test and then bleeding, it could be. It's a natural process sometimes. Take good care of your body and mind, stay positive. Consult with a doctor for clarity and support, and remember, everything happens for a reason.

My wife went through this. We got a positive test super early, got excited, and then her period just came a few days later, a bit heavier maybe. Doc said it was a chemical pregnancy. Basically, you get the positive but then it just doesn't continue. Very disappointing, but common apparently.

Chemical pregnancy matlab, you get a positive pregnancy test, ho na, but then very soon your period starts, like ekdum early miscarriage. Sometimes, the bleeding is a bit heavier than usual. It's sad, but common. Doctor will check your HCG levels to confirm.
