How to induce pregnancy at 38 weeks?

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and feeling very uncomfortable now, just want the baby to come soon! My doctor said it's okay to try natural ways. What can I do to safely induce pregnancy at 38 weeks?

I totally get that feeling of being so done with pregnancy and just wanting the baby out! It's exhausting, physically and mentally. While some people swear by walking or eating dates, please discuss this with your doctor. They will know what's safest and best for you and the baby at 38 weeks.

At 38 weeks, your doctor is the only person who can really advise on induction. Don't try anything at home without their guidance. Just have a clear conversation with your OB/GYN, ask about the pros and cons, and if it's medically necessary. My wife's doctor at Apollo was very clear about this.

Beti, 38 hafte ho gaye toh ab sabar karo. Jaldi hi baccha aayega. Apne doctor se poocho, woh jo kahein wohi karna. Ghar mein apne aap kuch mat karna, bacche ki sehat ka sawal hai. Bas aaram karo.

Sun meri baat, 38 weeks is almost full term. Don't go trying any 'gharelu nuskhe' without talking to your doctor. Delivery is serious business, you need medical supervision. Just trust your doctor, they will tell you when it's the right time for induction if needed.

Please, please don't try to self-induce. I once ignored some advice and regretted it later. Every pregnancy is different, and what works for one person might be risky for another. Your doctor will monitor everything and suggest induction only if it's safe and necessary for you and the baby's health.
