I agree, and keeping a firm cushion behind your lower back while sitting works wonders.

My wife faced this during her pregnancy, and helping her with light stretches on a yoga mat really eased her pelvic alignment. Make sure you support your belly with pillows while sleeping on your side.

It was so frustrating to barely be able to walk to the bathroom because of the pain, it made me feel so helpless. Please take it slow and don't feel guilty about resting all day if you need to.

For me, warm water baths before going to bed really helped soothe the shooting pain in my hip. I also avoided wearing any shoes with heels and stuck to very soft flats.

Try a gentle pelvic tilt exercise if your doctor says it's fine. Also, avoid standing on one leg when getting dressed, sit down on a chair instead to keep your pelvis balanced.

Don't just wait for the pain to go away on its own. Book a consultation with a prenatal physiotherapist who can show you safe, targeted exercises to relieve nerve compression.

With underlying issues like thyroid, inflammation can sometimes feel more intense. Keep your thyroid levels monitored under your doctor's supervision while managing your pregnancy symptoms.

Keep your mind calm and trust your body's strength. Gentle breathing and resting with elevated legs can ease the tension in your back; take good care of yourself.

Hormones make our ligaments very loose during this time, which can trigger sciatica. I used a warm compress on my lower back, but please ask your doctor before doing any heavy stretching.
