How to help round ligament pain in pregnancy?

Currently 28 weeks pregnant and this round ligament pain is really bothering me. Every time I cough or turn in bed, it's a sharp pull. Any specific exercises or home remedies that helped during pregnancy?

My grandmother recommended resting with a pillow under the stomach, which did help ease the strain. But always check with your doctor if the pain doesn't subside with rest.

Haan na, this side pain is so annoying when you try to turn in bed. Just turn very slowly and keep your knees bent, it reduces the pressure on your stomach.

It is quite uncomfortable to deal with these sudden sharp pains. Try to take deep, calm breaths and rest as much as possible.

Instead of buying expensive specialized maternity pillows, you can easily use your regular pillows to support your back and belly. It works just as well to relieve ligament pressure.

Beti, avoid lifting heavy buckets or bending down too fast during these months. Keep a small stool nearby so you do not have to strain your stomach while sitting or working.

During my second trimester, I felt a sharp pinch whenever I stood up too quickly. Sitting down slowly and resting on my left side always helped the pain go away.

Don't panic when you feel that sudden sharp pull on your sides, it is just your body adjusting to the little one. Move gently and remember to take rest when your body asks for it.

I found that having light, warm soups helped me feel cozy when dealing with those uncomfortable belly pulls. Keeping the digestive system calm somehow made me feel more relaxed.

I once dismissed severe lower abdominal pain as just ligament stretching, which was a mistake. Please get any persistent or severe pain checked by your doctor immediately.

Strengthening your core gently before pregnancy helps, but during it, focus on pelvic tilts to ease ligament strain. Keep your movements controlled and steady.
