How to help pelvic pain in pregnancy?

Being pregnant is wonderful, but this persistent pelvic pain is making everyday tasks difficult. Is there anything specific that has helped others with pelvic pain during pregnancy? I just want to be able to move around more easily.

I totally get it, that heavy pressure in the lower belly makes even walking to the bathroom so difficult. Please don't push yourself to do daily chores when it hurts. Just lie down on your side with a soft pillow between your legs.

We went to a specialist hospital for my wife's pregnancy, and they strictly advised against self-treating pelvic pain. You should call your obstetrician directly and describe the pain. They will tell you if you need a pelvic support band or specific bed rest.

It is really painful but quite common in the second and third trimesters. Just try to rest on your left side as much as possible.

Actually, turning in bed becomes a nightmare with this pain yaar. I used to sit up first and then slowly turn my whole body instead of twisting. It really helps save your pelvic bones from that sharp pinch.

Ensure you are eating a balanced, fiber-rich vegetarian diet so you don't get constipated, as straining can worsen pelvic pain. Drink plenty of warm water and eat fresh fruits. Keep your digestion light and smooth.

My elder sister had this pelvic pain and she literally couldn't even stand for long. She got a maternity belt online which helped support her baby bump and reduced the pressure. Maybe ask your doctor if you can use one too.

I hope you don't have any severe cramps or lower back pressure along with this pain. Please make sure the baby is moving normally and there is no leakage. If you feel even slightly doubtful, please rush to the clinic.
