How to help nausea during pregnancy?

The nausea during my pregnancy is getting unbearable, especially in the evenings. I'm finding it hard to eat anything. Are there any specific remedies or dietary changes that can help reduce this feeling and make me more comfortable?

Nausea during pregnancy is so exhausting, yaar! Actually, sniffing a freshly cut lemon or sucking on orange candies helped me survive those rough mornings. Keep some dry biscuits next to your bed and eat them before getting up.

My daughter had terrible nausea during her first three months. I used to give her small, frequent portions of light foods like apple slices, toast, and curd rice instead of three big meals. Avoid heavy, greasy food as the smell itself triggers vomiting.

Chhoti behan, in our village we chew a tiny piece of ginger or drink fennel (saunf) water slowly when the stomach feels uneasy. Do not worry too much and do not do heavy work right after eating. May God bless you and your baby.

I agree that keeping your stomach from being completely empty is the best way to keep the pregnancy nausea under control.

Please do not try any random herbal concoctions or internet remedies you read online, especially during pregnancy. What works safely for one person might cause acidity or issues for you. Talk directly to your obstetrician; they can prescribe extremely safe anti-nausea tablets.

When you have nausea, your digestion is very weak, so stick to clean, simple vegetarian food. Try dry rusks, roasted makhana, or bland suji upma without any strong spices or onions. Drinking fresh coconut water in the afternoon also helps balance acidity.

My dear, please do not worry, this nausea is just a sign that your body is working hard for the baby. It usually goes away completely after the fourth month. Drink small sips of water and take plenty of rest.
