How to help morning sickness pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and the morning sickness is hitting me really hard. I feel nauseous most of the day, not just in the mornings. Any practical tips or foods that can help alleviate this terrible feeling?

I was looking this up for a friend recently and read that keeping dry crackers or glucose biscuits right by your bedside helps. Eating one or two before you even get out of bed in the morning is supposed to settle the stomach. Hope it helps you!

I had severe nausea with both my pregnancies and found that eating small meals every two hours was crucial. An empty stomach makes the nausea much worse, so don't leave long gaps. Also, drinking iced ginger water slowly throughout the day helped me a lot.

Honestly, during my first trimester, 'morning sickness' was actually 'all-day-and-night sickness'. Ginger candies and sniffing lemon slices were the only things that stopped me from crying. Just hang in there and eat whatever small thing you can digest right now.

Hey, don't worry too much, this is a very normal phase and it will get much better in the second trimester. Just take it very easy, don't force yourself to eat heavy meals, and rest as much as you can. If you can't keep any liquids down at all, please let your doctor know so they can help.

My daughter suffered so much from morning sickness during her early months. I used to make her very light, bland khichdi and gave her dry toast to nibble on. Avoid any oily or spicy food smells in the kitchen as they can trigger the vomiting immediately.
