How to help lower back pain during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester now, and the lower back pain has started to become really noticeable. It's making it hard to sleep and sometimes even walk comfortably. Are there any safe and gentle ways to get some relief during pregnancy?

Let's be real, pregnancy back pain is extremely common but you don't have to just suffer through it. Invest in a high-quality pregnancy pillow immediately and wear supportive, flat footwear. Also, discuss prenatal yoga with your gynaecologist; it works wonders.

Having conceived after struggling with PCOS, I was extra cautious about everything, including my back pain. I found that gentle pelvic tilts and keeping a warm towel on my back helped a lot. Just make sure to clear any exercise or remedy with your doctor first to be absolutely safe.

I completely understand how scary every little ache feels during pregnancy, and back pain can really make you anxious. Please know you are not alone and it's mostly due to the shifting center of gravity. Just to ease your mind, mention it to your doctor at your next visit so they can reassure you.

My elder sister went through this last year and she used to complain about her back constantly. She found that sleeping on her side with a regular pillow tucked between her knees helped her a lot. Maybe you can try that simple trick tonight!

I faced horrible back pain during my second trimester, and what saved me was maintaining good posture. Never bend forward to pick things up; squat down instead using your legs. Also, a warm water bath before sleeping relaxes the back muscles beautifully.
