Please do not try to manage an asthma cough with home remedies at night. My nephew's cough escalated quickly into severe breathing difficulty because his parents delayed using the inhaler. Please consult your pediatrician immediately and follow their asthma action plan.

It is heartbreaking to see a child struggle to sleep because of an asthma cough. Keeping a humidifier in their room to moisten the dry air can help ease the chest congestion. Always keep their prescribed inhaler right next to the bed.

Keeping the bedroom completely dust-free is very important as dust mites trigger asthma at night. Regularly wash bedsheets in warm water and avoid heavy carpets. Keep regular appointments with your pediatrician to adjust their medication.

When my little cousin gets these nighttime cough fits, we prop him up with three pillows so he's sitting almost upright. It looks like he's sleeping on a throne, but hey, it stops the coughing and lets everyone get some sleep!

For chronic issues like pediatric asthma, regular checkups and adjusting the dose of preventer inhalers are crucial. I always suggest keeping a symptom log to show your pediatrician during follow-ups so they can manage it better.

In our family, we noticed that cold air from the AC always triggers my younger brother's cough at night. We started keeping the room at a moderate temperature and made him wear chest-covering pajamas, which seemed to help.

As a mother of an asthmatic child, I've learned that keeping the head elevated with a wedge pillow helps immensely. Also, never use strong-smelling room fresheners or coils in their room as they are major triggers for night coughing.

Nighttime asthma cough is very stressful for parents. Please make sure to use their prescribed spacer and inhaler as advised by your doctor.

Yaar, bacche ko thoda gunguna pani pilao jab cough start ho, usse throat ko relief milta hai. AC ki thandak se bhi cough badhta hai na, toh temperature normal rakho. But inhaler toh hamesha paas hi rakhna, haan.

Ensure your child takes their prescribed preventer dose before sleeping as directed by their doctor. Keep them hydrated with warm water. If you notice their chest pulling in or they have trouble speaking, seek emergency medical care immediately.
