I used my health app to track my water intake and realized that drinking too much water during meals was bloating me and causing reflux. Try sipping water between meals instead of with them. It really helps reduce that heavy, burning feeling.

Please don't take regular over-the-counter antacids without consulting your gynecologist first, as some contain high sodium or aluminum which aren't ideal during pregnancy. Calcium-carbonate based tablets are usually safer, but let your doctor prescribe the right one.

In our family, we always suggest chewing a few fennel seeds (saunf) after meals to help with digestion during pregnancy. Drinking a glass of cold milk without sugar before bed also coats the stomach and relieves the chest burning naturally.

I get this horrible burning in my throat every single night now and it makes me so anxious to sleep. Does anyone else feel like they might choke on the acid when they lie down? It is honestly so uncomfortable and scary.

My wife faced severe reflux during her second pregnancy. We elevated the head of our bed by placing bricks under the legs, which worked much better than just using extra pillows. Also, try eating small meals 5-6 times a day instead of three heavy ones.
