How to get your period back after weight loss?

I've lost a lot of weight recently because of a new diet and exercise plan. While I'm happy with the weight loss, my periods have stopped coming regularly. How can I get my period back to normal after losing weight?

If your periods stopped after weight loss, it might mean you lost too much too fast, or your body fat percentage is too low. Sometimes increasing your calorie intake slightly with nutrient-dense foods and easing up on super intense workouts can help. But definitely consult a gynaecologist.

This is a common issue for many women after significant weight loss. The most practical solution is to see a gynaecologist. They might suggest dietary changes, managing stress, or sometimes even a mild hormonal supplement to kickstart your cycle. Don't self-diagnose.

Beti, after weight loss, sometimes the body takes time to adjust. It happened to my niece also. She went to the lady doctor, and they gave her some medicines and told her to eat a bit more balanced food. Don't worry, but do go to the doctor, they will help.

For hormonal balance, regular yoga and pranayama can be very helpful, especially practices that calm the nervous system. However, losing periods after weight loss is a medical concern, so it's essential to consult a gynecologist alongside any holistic practices.

Sometimes, when the body gets too lean, periods can stop. You can try having traditional remedies like jaggery and sesame seeds, but these are small helps. A doctor, particularly a lady doctor, is important to check if everything inside is fine and to guide you properly.

Yaar, if your periods stopped after losing weight, it's actually a sign you need to see a gynaecologist ASAP. It could be due to hormonal imbalance or too low body fat. Don't try home remedies for this, get a proper check-up done!
