How to get rid of reflux during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and lately, the heartburn and acid reflux have been terrible, especially after eating. It keeps me up at night. Is there anything safe I can do to get rid of this reflux during pregnancy?

Yaar, reflux in pregnancy is the worst, I remember. Actually, smaller, more frequent meals helped me a lot. And avoid lying down right after eating. Also, spicy food toh totally out, no?

Beta, it's very common during pregnancy. Try to eat slowly and chew well. Some women find drinking a little cold milk or a pinch of saunf (fennel seeds) after meals helps. But if it's severe, talk to your doctor, they will know best.

Oh, the pregnancy reflux was absolutely awful for me, made me cry sometimes! It's so frustrating when everything feels like it's coming back up. It's a real struggle, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed by it.

While you can't really 'get rid of' it completely, gentle walks after meals can sometimes aid digestion and reduce reflux. Of course, always check with your doctor about what exercise is safe for you during pregnancy.

It's completely normal to feel worried and uncomfortable with reflux, especially during pregnancy when you're already going through so much. Try to minimize stress as it can sometimes make symptoms worse. And please, discuss all your symptoms with your doctor.

Ayyo, reflux in pregnancy is a common complaint, my sister also had it. My mother used to suggest having a small glass of buttermilk after food, but I would say, check with your gynaecologist, dear. They can give the best and safest advice for you and the baby.

Reflux in pregnancy is common due to hormones and pressure. Small, frequent meals, avoiding fatty/spicy foods, and staying upright after eating are standard advice. If it's severe, your OB-GYN can prescribe safe medications. Don't just suffer through it.

Reflux can be really bad in pregnancy, and sometimes it's more than just discomfort. I had severe reflux that my doctor had to manage very carefully. Please don't self-medicate and tell your gynecologist about your symptoms; they might need to prescribe something safe.

My wife's doctor advised elevating the head of the bed, avoiding trigger foods like spicy or fatty items, and not eating large meals close to bedtime. They also said that antacids containing calcium carbonate are generally safe, but always consult before taking any medication.
