How to get rid of gas pain in upper back?

I frequently experience a dull, sometimes sharp, pain in my upper back, right between my shoulder blades. My friend suggested it could be gas, as I also feel bloated. How can I get rid of this gas pain in my upper back?

Beta, the upper body gets very stiff when wind is trapped in the digestive tract. Drink some warm water mixed with ginger juice and a little honey. If the discomfort doesn't settle in an hour, you should definitely show it to a family doctor.

I actually had this exact issue last month and was super confused why my back was hurting. My physician explained that referred gas pain can travel up the phrenic nerve to your shoulder and upper back. She suggested keeping meals light and using a warm compress to relax the muscles.

If your doctor says it is just gastric pressure, doing some light stretches and walking around can really help release it. Gentle shoulder rolls and standing twists usually work for me when my back feels locked up from sitting and bloating.

Honestly, any pain radiating to the upper back or chest shouldn't be self-treated blindly. I always go to my hospital and get a proper checkup to rule out anything serious. It is always better to ask your doctor clearly rather than guessing it is just gas.

Mere saath bhi yeh hota hai jab main zyaada der bina hile baitha rehta hoon. Simple solution hai—ek cup garm paani piyo aur thodi der chhat pe ya balcony mein tehel lo. Fast food thoda kam karo, apne aap aaram mil jayega.
