How to get rid of diabetes body odor?

I've noticed a strange body odor lately, and my doctor mentioned it could be related to my diabetes. It's making me self-conscious, especially at work. What can I do to get rid of this diabetes body odor?

I tried everything from lemon water to herbal baths to help with this. What finally worked for me was bathing twice a week with neem-infused water and wearing loose, pure cotton clothes to let my skin breathe.

Dude, I get it, dealing with weird body odor in college is so awkward. Just keep a good pocket deodorant handy, drink lots of water, and maybe check with your doctor if your sugar levels are spiking, because high sugar can sometimes cause that fruity smell.

My mother used to give me warm water baths with a pinch of turmeric to keep skin infections away, which helps with odor too. But honestly, keeping your HbA1c levels normal through proper doctor-prescribed medicine is the real solution.

Please do not rely on strong perfumes or home scrubs to cover up this odor. If it is a sweet, fruity smell, it could be a sign of diabetic ketoacidosis, which is a serious medical issue. Get your sugar levels checked by a doctor immediately.

When you have a busy workday, just carry a pack of wet wipes and change your shirt if you sweat too much. Keep an eye on your fasting sugars; once your numbers are back in range, the chemical odor reduces on its own.

In my thirty years of dealing with diabetes, I have learned that body odor is often a sign of high ketone levels when sugars are not controlled. Keep your blood sugar stable with proper food, and this issue will naturally go away. Don't worry, just stay disciplined.
