How to get rid of back pain during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and this back pain is becoming really difficult to manage. My doctor said it's normal, but it's affecting my sleep and daily activities. Any safe ways to get some relief?

My gynecologist told me that the hormone relaxin loosens the ligaments, which causes back pain as the baby grows. She advised me to wear a maternity support belt and sleep on my side with a pillow between my knees.

Please do not try any random exercises or herbal balms you read about online during pregnancy. Every pregnancy is unique, so consult your OB-GYN before doing any physical stretching or massage.

Pregnancy back pain is so annoying, ho na! I used to do gentle pelvic tilts which helped a lot, but only after asking my doc. Make sure you don't stand for too long at a stretch.

It is critical to monitor your overall health, including blood pressure, during pregnancy. Sometimes posture stress and lifestyle habits contribute to back pain, so keep your doctor informed during your routine checkups.

Invest in a high-quality C-shaped pregnancy pillow immediately. It completely saved my back during my second trimester by supporting both my bump and spine while sleeping.

Look, flat footwear is a must now, so throw away any heels or wedges. When you need to pick something up from the floor, bend your knees and squat down instead of bending your back.
