Oh, I totally get you. I've tried everything from lemon juice to curd to neem paste! What finally helped me was a good anti-dandruff shampoo used consistently for a few weeks, and not washing my hair with very hot water. Scalp health is key, so keep it clean but not stripped.

Been there, done that! The trick is consistency. Get a good medicated shampoo (Ketoconazole based works for many). Use it twice a week for a month, then once a week. Also, don't scratch your scalp aggressively. Let your hair air dry mostly, avoid very hot blow drying.

Is it just me or does it feel like dandruff never truly goes away, it just reduces for a bit and then comes back? Like, am I doing something wrong? Does anyone else feel like they're fighting a losing battle with it sometimes?

I'm also facing this problem for the first time, it's so frustrating. Do you think stress can cause dandruff too? I've been really stressed lately, and then I noticed more flakes. Any tips for managing that alongside hair wash?

Sometimes dandruff can be linked to overall health and diet. I make sure to eat plenty of greens, fruits, and healthy fats like avocado and nuts. Avoiding processed foods also helps my skin and scalp. It's not a direct cure, but it supports scalp health from within.
