How to get better deep sleep?

My sleep tracker app says I'm not getting enough deep sleep, even if I sleep for 7-8 hours. How can I improve this? I feel tired sometimes even after a long night.

My mother always said a light dinner and a calm mind helps. I also ensure my room is very dark and cool. If it's a persistent problem, though, definitely consult with a doctor; they know best about the actual medical reasons.

For deep sleep, avoiding heavy meals, especially those with high sugar content, before bed is crucial. Spikes in blood sugar can disturb sleep. I try to have a light, early dinner and keep my sugars stable throughout the night.

Please, don't make my mistake. I ignored my poor sleep for years, thinking it was just stress. Turned out to be more. If you're struggling with deep sleep, go see a sleep specialist. It's better to rule out anything serious early on.

Deep sleep? What's that? Is it like a mythical creature? Honestly, I'm just happy if I get *any* sleep. But I've heard cutting out screen time an hour before bed and making your room like a cave (dark, quiet, cool) helps. Still waiting for it to work for me though!

If you're not getting deep sleep consistently, it's really important to get it checked by a doctor. It could be something simple, or it could indicate an underlying issue like sleep apnea. Don't just ignore it; safety first, always.
