Bhai, for a baby, routine is everything. Feed them, burp them, change diaper, then swaddle them tight (if they like it). Dark room, maybe some soft white noise. Put them down sleepy but awake, so they learn to sleep on their own. Simple, but consistent.
Getting a baby to sleep requires patience and a good routine. Many parents find success with a 'feed, play, sleep' cycle. Make sure the room is dark and quiet, and consider swaddling for newborns. Patting them gently or white noise can also be very effective. Every baby is different, so try different things!
A consistent routine and dark, quiet room works wonders for babies. Don't give up!
This is something I worry about for the future! So, for swaddling, is there a particular type that's best? And how do you know if a baby prefers white noise or complete silence? Any tips for recognizing their cues?

I totally get it, baby sleep is a whole universe of its own! It's exhausting when they don't settle. Creating a consistent bedtime routine, like a warm bath, massage, feeding, and then a quiet, dark room, often helps. Some babies love white noise too. Remember, it's a phase, and you're doing great!
