How to fix knee pain from squats?

I recently started doing squats to get fit, but now my knees are really bothering me after each workout. It's a sharp pain right around the kneecap. How can I fix this knee pain from squats without stopping my exercise?

Look, knee pain from squats means your form is probably off or you're lifting too heavy. Simple. Drop the ego, reduce the weight, and film yourself to check your posture. If it still hurts, see a physio, don't keep hurting yourself. No point.

Knee pain from squats might be due to bad form or too much weight. It's like managing blood pressure, you need to be careful with technique and not push too hard too fast. Get a trainer or physio to check your form. Don't let it become a chronic issue, that could affect overall health later.

Oh my god, I had this EXACT issue a few months back! Squats were killing my knees. What helped me was completely deloading, practicing squats with just bodyweight in front of a mirror to fix my form, and doing specific exercises for my quads and glutes to strengthen them. Also, a good warm-up and cool-down are non-negotiable. Don't give up, you can fix it!

My sports doctor explained that knee pain from squats is often patellofemoral pain syndrome, caused by improper tracking of the kneecap. He emphasized strengthening glutes and hip abductors (like clam shells) and ensuring knees don't cave inwards during squats. Also, depth matters; don't go too deep if it causes pain. It's all about technique and muscle balance.

Bro, knee pain from squats is so common, don't worry. Probably your form is messed up. Watch some YouTube videos on proper squat form or get a gym buddy to check you. Also, maybe just lighten the weight for a bit till the pain subsides. No point lifting heavy if you're gonna injure yourself, right?
