How to figure out due date pregnancy?

I just got a positive pregnancy test, and I'm super excited! But now I'm trying to figure out when the baby might arrive. How do I calculate my due date for pregnancy? Is it just based on my last period?

My wife had high BP during her pregnancy, so regular doctor visits were crucial. They used her last period date and then the first ultrasound scan to figure out the due date more accurately. Don't skip those initial checkups, especially if you have any health concerns.

I remember frantically trying to figure out my due date using every online calculator and app! It made me so anxious. But my gynaecologist calmly explained it's an estimate first, based on your last period, and then confirmed by the first ultrasound scan. It's totally normal for it to adjust slightly.

The initial ultrasound is key for accurate dating, especially if your cycles are irregular. Make sure to schedule that early. Knowing your due date precisely helps with planning maternity leave and other important logistics. Keep all your reports organized.

While medical science will give the precise date, I believe in being mindful during pregnancy. Knowing the approximate week through your Last Menstrual Period can help you connect with your growing baby. But always confirm with the doctor's ultrasound, that is the most reliable.

The doctor will ask for your last period date, so keep that in mind. Then an ultrasound will confirm everything. Don't stress too much, it's a beautiful journey. Just focus on your health and enjoying this time.

Usually, they ask for your Last Menstrual Period (LMP) date. Then the doc does an ultrasound to confirm. I've seen my sister use online calculators for fun, but the actual doc's date is what matters for planning stuff!

Honestly, after the first trimester, my wife's due date felt less like a date and more like a 'whenever the baby decides to come' situation. 😂 But for planning, the first scan is critical. Otherwise, just enjoy the ride and prepare for some sleepless nights!

My cousin just had a baby. They first used her last period date, then the doctor confirmed with the first scan. That's the most accurate, bro. Don't go by apps or anything too much for exact dates.
