My hair has started thinning quite noticeably on my crown area. It's making me self-conscious. Are there any effective ways to fight hair loss and promote new growth?

For hair loss, the most practical approach is to identify the cause. Is it stress, diet, hormones, or genetics? A dermatologist can help. While you figure that out, gentle hair care, a balanced diet, and maybe some biotin supplements (if deficient) can be helpful. No quick fixes though.

While exercise itself doesn't directly 'fight' hair loss, a healthy lifestyle does support overall well-being, which includes hair health. Good circulation from activities like walking or jogging can benefit the scalp. Just ensure you're getting enough nutrients and managing stress, as that often impacts hair.

There are so many unproven 'miracle cures' for hair loss online. Don't fall for them. Hair loss often has underlying medical reasons, and only a qualified doctor can diagnose and treat it effectively. Waste of money and can be harmful to try everything.

Hair loss can be quite distressing. It's important to differentiate between normal hair shedding and actual hair loss. If it's persistent or severe, seeking advice from a trichologist or dermatologist is crucial. They can suggest appropriate treatments like topical solutions or oral medications based on the cause.

I track my diet and hydration levels on my health app, which sometimes gives clues about deficiencies that could affect hair. Also, monitoring stress levels using mindfulness apps helps. If nothing, these give me data points to discuss with my doctor if hair loss persists.
