How to drink olive oil before bed for weight loss?

My friend who's into fitness suggested drinking olive oil before bed for weight loss. I'm a bit hesitant as it's oil, but I'm curious. What's the right way to do this, if it even works?

I know how stressful it is when you're desperate to lose weight and want to try everything, even drinking oil. But please be careful, as drinking olive oil right before sleeping can cause bad acid reflux and make you feel very uneasy at night. Take care of your gut first.

I always prefer home remedies, but drinking raw oil at night is very heavy for the liver. If you are facing sudden weight gain or extreme fatigue, please see a doctor for a proper checkup instead of trying these heavy oils.

I actually tried drinking a tablespoon of olive oil before bed last month thinking it would help my metabolism. It just gave me a very heavy stomach and ruined my sleep quality completely. Once I stopped doing it, my digestion and sleep got much better.

Hey, don't stress too much about these internet diet hacks! Drinking oil before bed just adds extra calories which actually works against weight loss. Just enjoy your light dinner and have a simple cup of warm chamomile tea instead.

Man, I can barely sleep at night as it is, and if I drink a shot of olive oil, I'll be running to the washroom half the night! 100% do not recommend this if you want a peaceful sleep.

Olive oil is amazing for salads 🥗 but drinking it straight before bed sounds so tough! Let's keep our oil in our food and stick to simple water at night. It is much easier on the tongue too!

Who even came up with this trend? Olive oil is so costly, my mom would throw me out of the house if I started drinking it from the bottle daily. I'll stick to my normal home food, thanks.

In our old days, we never drank oil directly like this, especially before sleeping. If you need healthy fats, eat 4-5 soaked almonds in the morning. Oil needs a lot of physical activity to digest properly, so taking it at night is not wise.
