How to drink metamucil for weight loss?
My cousin suggested Metamucil for improving digestion, and she also said it can help with weight management. How should I drink Metamucil for weight loss? Is it just mixed with water?

Metamucil is actually just psyllium husk, which is basically our normal Isabgol, yaar. If you drink it, make sure you mix it in a full glass of water and gulp it down quickly before it becomes like jelly. But don't use it as a weight loss shortcut, it is mainly for constipation.
I tried taking it 15 minutes before my meals to control my appetite. Honestly, it just made me extremely bloated and gassy, and didn't really help me lose any weight. Skip the supplement and just eat real fruit instead.
I have heard that Metamucil helps you feel full so you eat less. But is it safe to drink every single day, or does it cause stomach dependency after some time?
Haan na, Isabgol or Metamucil is great for stomach cleansing, but using it daily just to lose weight is not right, ho na. It can make you feel very bloated if you don't drink enough water with it. Better to eat normal green veggies for fiber.

My grandmother always advised having a spoon of fiber before dinner to keep digestion smooth, but when I asked my doctor, he said using fiber supplements specifically for weight loss isn't ideal. It is much better to get your fiber from daily salads and lentils.
