How to detect pancreatic cancer symptoms?

My father has been losing weight for no reason and sometimes complains of abdominal pain. We are worried about pancreatic issues. What are the specific symptoms of pancreatic cancer that one should look out for?

I remember panicking once when I had some upper abdominal pain and lost a little weight. I immediately thought of the worst. Turns out it was just a bad bout of indigestion! But that made me research. Key symptoms are persistent pain in the abdomen or back, yellow skin/eyes, very dark urine, and unintended weight loss. If you have these, don't panic like me, but do get it checked by a doctor quickly.

Connecting with our breath and body helps us to notice subtle changes. Pancreatic cancer symptoms can be very quiet initially. Look for persistent dull pain in the upper abdomen that may radiate to the back, unexplained weight loss, new-onset diabetes, or changes in skin and urine color. If you observe such persistent imbalances, seek a doctor's advice.

While I love my natural remedies for cough and cold, for something as serious as pancreatic cancer, only a doctor can help. If you notice a sudden, inexplicable loss of appetite or weight, yellowing of skin or eyes, or persistent pain in your stomach or back, please don't try any home remedies. Go straight to a good hospital for tests.

Oh god, just hearing 'pancreatic cancer symptoms' makes me want to nap for a week. But seriously, if you're suddenly looking like a highlighter (yellow skin), your stomach feels like a constant warzone, or you're losing weight without trying (the dream for us sleep-deprived folks, but actually a bad sign!), please drag your tired self to the doctor. Don't be like me and think 'just one more coffee will fix it'.

As a diabetic, I monitor my blood sugar very closely. A sudden and unexplained onset of diabetes, or a significant worsening of existing diabetes, can sometimes be a red flag for pancreatic issues. Other signs are persistent belly pain that spreads to the back, jaundice, and rapid weight loss. Food choices are important for managing diabetes, but these symptoms need immediate medical attention.
