How to decrease blood pressure during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and my blood pressure has started to creep up. My doctor said it's something to watch, and I'm a bit worried. Are there any safe ways to help keep it down during pregnancy?

Oh, BP in pregnancy is serious, ho na? Please consult your gynaecologist immediately. They might recommend mild exercises, a special diet, or even medicines. Don't try anything on your own, haan.

As a healthcare professional, I can't give medical advice, but please make sure you're strictly following your OB-GYN's instructions. They usually recommend reducing stress, avoiding high-sodium foods, and regular blood pressure checks. Don't skip your appointments.

While some natural things like beetroot juice or kalonji seeds are said to help with BP generally, during pregnancy, high BP is serious. Please, please see your doctor immediately and follow their advice. Don't rely on home remedies for something so critical for you and the baby.

My wife had this during her pregnancy. Doc made her cut out all processed stuff and strictly follow a low-salt diet. Hydration was key too. And lots of rest. But yeah, the main thing was following the doctor's plan to the T.

During pregnancy, it's crucial to follow a doctor's guidance. Generally, light exercise like walking, if approved by your doctor, can help with circulation. And focus on a balanced, nutrient-rich diet with controlled sodium, not just for BP but for overall health too.

I totally get how worrying this must be for you. My sister-in-law had similar issues. Her doctor advised complete rest, reduced salt intake, and regular monitoring. Please follow your doctor's advice very carefully; it's so important for both you and the baby.
