How to dandruff treatment?

I've been struggling with severe dandruff for a while now, and it just keeps coming back. What are some effective treatments I can try, maybe some over-the-counter products or things I should look for?

Dandruff can be related to fungal growth, and a balanced diet is always important, especially for those managing diabetes. Make sure you're not consuming too much sugar, as it can sometimes feed yeast. For the scalp, a good medicated shampoo is key, and maintain good hygiene. My doctor also suggested staying hydrated.

My son had a lot of dandruff. What really helped him was switching to an anti-dandruff shampoo that contained zinc pyrithione or selenium sulfide, and using it consistently for a few weeks. Also, I made sure he wasn't using too much hair product. And brushing his hair regularly helps exfoliate the scalp.

Dandruff can be annoying, but you can definitely treat it! ✨ Try using an anti-dandruff shampoo regularly and massage your scalp gently. Sometimes, applying aloe vera gel directly to the scalp can also be very soothing! Keep trying different things till you find what works for you! 😊

I literally just got rid of my dandruff a few months ago! What worked for me was using a good quality anti-dandruff shampoo (I used one with ketoconazole) consistently twice a week. And rinsing thoroughly! Also, I started oiling my hair less frequently and made sure my scalp wasn't left oily for too long. It really made a huge difference.
