How to control hair loss after pregnancy?

I'm still losing a lot of hair even several months after my delivery. It's getting really concerning, and I've tried some oils but nothing seems to help. What can I do to control this hair loss after pregnancy?

Postpartum hair loss is a natural biological process due to falling estrogen levels. There is no need to buy expensive miracle products; just continue your iron and calcium supplements and consult your doctor to ensure your thyroid levels are normal.

I faced severe hair loss after both my pregnancies. My best advice is to avoid styling or blow-drying your hair, use a very mild shampoo, and give it time. It naturally stops around 6 to 9 months once your hormones balance out.

My wife was convinced our new vacuum cleaner was broken because of how much of her hair it was sucking up! Don't worry, it is just a temporary phase and your hair will return to its former glory soon.

I tried various homemade hair packs like egg white and curd, but they only made my hair smell and did nothing for the shedding. Honestly, eating a balanced diet with proper proteins is the only practical solution that works.

Please don't ignore it if the hair fall continues even after a year post-pregnancy. My wife ignored it, and it turned out to be a severe iron deficiency that took months to correct. Go for a proper blood checkup.

I panicked so much when I saw clumps of hair in my hands, thinking I was going bald. But my doctor reassured me that it is completely normal after delivery. It stopped automatically and grew back fine, so please don't stress.
